Variants of clamp binding

With clamp binding, paper pages are fed into a clamping rail by hand. This is made of sturdy plastic and can be attached to the cross or long side of the document. If the document is also to be mounted on a fixed background, self-adhesive clamping rails are a suitable solution. The adhesive strip is self-adhesive and can fix the document to a clipboard (menu) or a glass window (advertising material), for example. Clamp bindings in the form of book binding folders are suitable for high-quality binding of thick documents. These enclose the entire document and are available as hardcover perfect bindings or softcover perfect bindings.

Advantages of perfect binding

The decisive advantage of clamp binding over other binding methods is that the paper does not need to be punched and no special tools are required for the use of clamping bars. Clamp binding is also very user-friendly: by removing the clamping bar, the individual pages can be easily detached, sorted out and added to. Clamp binding is therefore particularly popular for documents with a limited duration (e.g. menus, advertising posters). In principle, perfect binding is suitable for all documents that need to be bound quickly and easily (application folders, workbooks, handouts). Clip binding is also financially lucrative thanks to the reusable and cost-effective clamping bars.

The filling height indicates how many sheets can be held. With our regular clamping rails, you can choose between the filling heights 3-4 mm / 5-6 mm and the sizes DIN A5, A4 and A3. You can also choose between different colour variants (black, white, transparent) to give your documents an individual and attractive look. The self-adhesive clip strips from SPRINTIS come in an elegant transparent colour and are fitted with a practical adhesive strip. They are also available in a smaller filling height (1 mm) as well as special and oversized sizes (50 mm, 100 mm, 1000 mm) to enable dimensionally accurate binding. We offer sturdy bookbinding folders for binding thick, sensitive or precious documents. The Leitz hardcover perfect binding is made of high-quality cardboard with a linen look (colours: black, white, blue). The softcover perfect binding consists of flexible PE material on the front and cardboard on the back (colours: black, white, blue, bordeaux).
