Hook and loop fasteners
There are few more practical fasteners than hook and loop tapes. The hook and loop fastener or the corresponding hook and loop tape can be closed and opened quickly and easily. But not all hook and loop tapes are the same: In the SPRINTIS shop, you can find the useful everyday tools for sewing or gluing in various forms – from self-adhesive hook and loop dots to back to back hook and loop tape sold by the metre. Whether in colourful, black, white, or even transparent, self-adhesive or for sewing on, very narrow or up to 50 mm wide – SPRINTIS offers the whole range of options for your needs. Due to their almost unlimited life and function, hook and loop dots and hook and loop tape are extremely popular, for example, as fasteners for various print products and are also used in numerous areas.

Cable hook and loop instead of cable ties
The applications are as varied as the hook and loop products themselves. To attach cables, hoses, fabrics or banners, strong double-sided hook and loop tapes are quickly ready for use and ideally suited. Compared to standard cable ties, which are very strong, but cause inconvenience and waste when opened, SPRINTIS hook and loop cable ties can be easily removed and reused several times. For this specific use, the hook and loop tape has been perfected. So if you don't want to do without the classic cable ties, the hook and loop cable ties are an excellent alternative with all the advantages of hook and loop. This is because the hook and loop tapes for cables have a loop through which the hook and loop tape can simply be threaded, allowing even large quantities of material to be reliably held in place.
Hook and loop tapes in the textile industry
In the textile industry, hook and loop tapes are used for shoes but also for items of clothing as a replacement for shoelaces, zippers or (press) buttons. Thus, the advantages of the practical hook and loop tape become clear from toddlers up to old age. Either hook and loop tape for sewing or directly self-adhesive hook and loop tape is used for processing. The simple concept of hook and loop tape and hook and loop dots is available in different versions - special formats and colours are of course available on request.
Hook and loop - a Swiss invention
We have a curious Swiss man to thank for hook and loop dots, hook and loop tape and hook and loop fasteners. In the 1950s, an engineer - fed up with the stubborn fruit of the "greater burdock" on his trouser legs - discovered the simple yet ingenious principle. The result of his patent for a synthetic replica is today's hook and loop dots and hook and loop tape. Hook and loop tape is typically made of polyester fibres and/or PA polymer. The principle can even be realised with other materials. For example, hook and loop dots made of metal or other materials are even used in the aerospace industry and for protective clothing.
