Staining is the treatment of wood surfaces with a solution that penetrates deep into the wood structure but retains the natural structure of the wood.

The following effects can be achieved when staining wood:

emphasise the original wood colour
emphasise the natural wood grain
differences in colour can be covered or adjusted, e.g. when exposed to sunlight
preserve the character of the wood and its natural structure
the colour of the wood surface can be changed

Please note that wooden card holders are best suited for displaying light objects such as photos, small cards or notes. If the objects are too heavy, there is a risk that the card holder will become unstable and tip over.

Note: Due to the stained surface, residues may remain on the printed product under certain circumstances.
