Gauze is a semi-transparent, very loosely woven cloth which, despite its lightness, provides enormous stability for bookbinding. The gauze is glued behind the spine or cover of the book, thus reinforcing the thin paper.

So if you would like to strengthen a book cover, stitching gauze is an excellent alternative: In our online store you will find stitching gauze in three-thread design and in various formats for every need, wound on rolls of 10 meters in length or as a prefabricated sheet. Our back gauze made of wide-meshed cotton fabric is also available in various widths between 40 and 150 millimetres and a uniform length of 10 metres in roll format. Another popular method for holding pages together are our binding rings.
