Details

The flexible magnetic tape without adhesive is uncoated and therefore particularly versatile. As it neither has a coloured PVC coating nor is self-adhesive, it is suitable for special applications in which the magnetic tape is incorporated or stuck.

The uncoated magnetic tape is semi-anisotropic and has strong magnetic adhesion. This makes the uncoated magnetic tape ideal for use in the fastening and fixing technology.

Various widths and material thicknesses are available which are supplied on rolls of 100 m or 200 m depending on the variant. The magnetic tapes without adhesive can be easily cut to the required length with scissors or a cutter knife and further processed.

The semi-anisotropic magnetic tapes have a very high proportion of ferrite. They are stripe magnetised with multiple poles on one side in the longitudinal direction. Thanks to an odd number of neighbouring poles, the magnetic tape can be used in pairs without an additional counterpart. However, before sticking or further processing, it is essential to ensure that one of the two tapes is rotated by 180° so that the two magnetic strips attract each other precisely fitting without any offset.

The magnetic tape without adhesive is used in many different fields, e.g.

for planning and organisation on magnetic planning boards and whiteboards
for labelling on metal shelves or cupboards
for fastenings at the point of sale
in model construction and the DIY sector
for handicrafts

Note: Magnetic foils and magnetic tapes are not suitable as a surface for magnets (e.g. office or neodymium magnets), as they can lose their magnetisation in close presence of magnets. Our iron foils (also known as ferrofoils) and metal tapes are preferably suitable as an adhesive surface for magnets.
