The relevant calendar hanger is simply inserted into the binding. The straight calendar hanger variant is also suitable for use with fully automatic binding machines.

Combinations: Cover sheets and back covers for wire-o binding

Where required, back covers and front covers act as a high-quality protective cover, safeguarding the pages from dirt or creasing. The advantage of this combination is a significantly increased durability of the wire-bound documents. For this purpose, we offer various formats and materials, such asrigid PVC orpolypropylene film in different thicknesses. Depending on your requirements, the cover sheet can be transparent,matt-transparent ortranslucent and coloured.

Difference between wire-o binding and spiral binding

These two binding methods are often confused with one another, but what is the difference? SPRINTIS’s spiral bindings consist of plastic spirals which are twisted into the holes after the sheets have been punched and then bent over at both ends.

With wire binding, on the other hand, a wire comb is pressed into the punched holes of the documents using a suitable binding machine. Wire binding offsets the higher initial cost of a wire-binding machine, on the one hand, through the high stability of the binding and, on the other, through the flexibility it offers in choosing which documents to bind. Furthermore, when the product is opened out, there is no noticeable page misalignment.
