DuploFLEX FOL is a double-sided plate mounting tape with a transparent film backing and rubber adhesive for letterpress and flexo printing. The dimensionally stable PVC carrier film in combination with an aggressive synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive is particularly suitable for mounting printing plates in flexo printing. The manufacturer cites the mounting of photopolymer and rubber clichés on printing cylinders and mounting foils in flexo and label printing as the main application.
DuploFLEX FOL offers excellent tolerance accuracy and individual height compensation through different strengths from 0.10 mm to 0.30 mm. The translucent carrier foil, which is differently coloured depending on the strength in order to be distinguished at first glance, allows a clear view of the markings on the printing cylinder or mounting foil. The DuploFOL cover consists of a green, creped PVC film that protrudes slightly at the beginning of the roll. The tape rolls are 310 mm wide and 4.5 m long and are supplied clean and well protected individually in cardboard boxes.
