Our PLA bags offer a perfect alternative to conventional plastic bags. Made from PLA, polylactic acids, a bio-based plastic obtained from renewable raw materials such as corn starch or sugar, these bags are ideal as an alternative packaging solution.
The bags are certified to DIN EN 13432. This means they are industrially compostable and biodegradable, i.e. they are designed to biodegrade within six months in an industrial composting facility under controlled conditions (specific temperature and humidity levels). The PLA bag should therefore be disposed of in the organic waste bin. It is not suitable for home composting or for the recycling bin.
Our PLA bags, made from renewable resources, are an ideal solution for environmentally conscious consumers, customers and companies who are looking for an alternative packaging method.
They offer the same possible applications as classic plastic bags; however, they are not heat-sealable.
